Confused about what this BloggerCon thing is all about? You already know who’s coming, but what will they be talking about? Good question! Read on for the answer.
This will be the fourth BloggerCon that I’ve arranged, and although the first three were not for REALTORS®, I have stumbled upon a format that seems to work really well. It starts with this loose agenda:
- Introductions (Name, location, blog and how long you’ve been blogging)
- How can REALTOR® bloggers help each other get more readers and subscribers?
- How can the Virginia Association of REALTORS® help bloggers get more readers and subscribers?
- Lightning round: In one minute or less, what’s your number one blogging tip?
This format accomplishes several things:
- Extends virtual relationships into the real world. Many of the bloggers who will attend have been reading each others’ blogs for years, but have never met in real life.
- Creates a mutually-supportive community who can help drive traffic to each others’ blogs.
- Provides staff of VAR, a sort of hub for the profession, with insights on how to enable a stronger community of REALTOR® bloggers.
- Reveals ten or more secrets to blogging success from those who are doing it and doing it well. Every tip might not be new to you, but inevitably one or two will be.

You can RSVP by leaving a comment on the initial BloggerCon post. We have some non-bloggers who are interested in attending, but current bloggers get priority.
