If you want write your own real estate blog, VAR’s Convention & Expo 2007 is the place to be. Volunteers from the VAR membership who are already writing blogs will help you learn all about this remarkable communication tool that is both fun and profitable. In conjunction with the Cyber Café, VAR is hosting a Social Media Lab where you can learn about blogs and even create your own in just a few minutes.
The Social Media Lab hours are:
- Monday, October 1 from 2 – 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 2 from 12 – 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 3 from 12:30 – 2 p.m.
During these hours, a volunteer Social Media Lab tech will be on hand to guide you through an interactive tutorial to the world of reading and writing blogs. Just walk right up, no appointment necessary. Social Medial Lab techs will wear stickers resembling the one in this post. Just ask for help, that’s what they’ve volunteered to do!
If you are using the Cyber Café during hours when a tech is not on duty, you can still peruse the tutorial, which will be linked from the home page of all Cyber Café work stations.
