Welcome to Williamsburg!

I and the Williamsburg REALTORS® can’t wait to have everyone visit our historic city.  Here are a few suggestions for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing during your free time:

Restaurants – Opus 9 Steakhouse (upscale); The Fat Canary (upscale); Barrett’s Seafood (al fresco & indoors); The Trellis (casual); Cities Grille & Wine Shop (casual); Pierce’s Pit Barbeque (super casual & good); and, of course, the Colonial Williamsburg Taverns

Shopping – Prime Outlet; Merchant’s Square; New Town

Sightseeing:  Jamestown; Yorktown; Busch Gardens (The park is open only on weekends and is currently having it’s annual Howl-O-Scream event.  It’s open on Friday 9.28.07 and Sunday 9.30.07 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m and Saturday 9.29.07 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.).

I have to echo the recommendation for Pierce’s Pitt BBQ. Although I have never made a dedicated trip to Williamsburg for their BBQ, I am always eager to stop in anytime I travel I-64. Exits 234 and 238 will get you there! Best BBQ in Virginia, and I’m a connoisseur. Busch Gardens is a load of fun too. You can even earn a Beer Master Certificate by sitting through a 30 minute beer tasting class!
