As the VAR Convention in Williamsburg is starting to buzz, I’m looking forward to meeting you at the Social Media Lab, which is part of the Cyber Cafe at this year’s convention. Our goal at the lab will be to get you to dive in to the Blogosphere by creating and writing your first post to your own blog.
The hours of the lab are:
- Monday, October 1, 2-4
- Tuesday, October 2, 12-4
- Wednesday, October 3, 12:30-2
I will be working at the lab on Tuesday from 12-1. For the first person to come and start their own blog I will put our picture (action shot!) up on this blog and on my own real estate blog. Besides being slightly famous you will have two links to your blog on the very first day of its existence. Come prepared to the SML by reading the simple Blogging Tutorial that has been prepared for you. You can also come with an idea of a short blog post you might want to write. You could write about a neighborhood you know well, a class you recently took, something you think needs to change in our business, or specific advice you would give to your clients. The subject matter is wide open. I simply want you to have a chance to join the discussion that is happening in the blogosphere every day.
